MARS Solutions Group is Hiring a Material Planner Near Amarillo, TX
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Planner to join our team. The Material Planner will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule requirements.
**Duties:**
Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Line of Balance (LOB), Microsoft Office efficient
- Develop and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) systems
Experience in ERP Systems (Oracle, SAP) and advanced planning tools
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and purchasing departments to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Plan and schedule material/production needs
- Monitor inventory levels and track materials flow
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Analyze data to identify trends and anticipate future material needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Proven experience in production planning, materials management, or supply chain
- Proficiency in MRP systems and production planning tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Ability to fabricate and buy materials as needed
